Does a customer remember a product or a person? When Walt Disney determined that people remember people, he had hit upon an essential business truth that led to immediate and sustained success. At Disney, the mission of small teams is aligned with the mission of the larger organizational culture to create a seamless experience. So while there may be thousands of job classifications, there will always be one common goal: Guest satisfaction. We believe that in any business, an organization’s human resource culture is central to long-term success.

The Disney corporate culture is the cornerstone of its people management processes and is the philosophy underlying all business decisions. This course explores the culture and principles behind the highly successful Disney method of people management. You learn to adapt techniques used to select, train and retain employees, and communicate with them in order to sustain a supportive and interactive organizational culture.

You will learn how to:

- Apply key elements of the Disney people management strategy to strengthen your organization.
- Build organization-wide processes to reinforce your corporate culture.

Admission Price: The admission price is $289 per person until Friday September 16, 2011.  The rate after September 16th (9/17 to 9/29) is $319 per person. Admission includes registration, program materials, continental breakfast, catered lunch, and two catered breaks.

The Disney Institute Package will consist of the following:

- Admission for the Giveaway Winner to attend one (1) regularly scheduled 3½ Day Disney Institute Open Enrollment Program at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida (the "OE Program"). Each such program covers one of Disney Institute's five core topics: Leadership, Management, Service, Creativity or Loyalty.
- Certain meals during the OE Program for the Giveaway Winner as determined by Disney in its sole discretion.
- Three (3) 1-day "After 4pm" theme park tickets for use by the Giveaway Winner, each of which will be valid for admission after 4pm on one of the dates of the OE Program to one of the following Walt Disney World® Resort theme parks: Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, Disney's Hollywood Studios™ or Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Cost of parking is not included. Certain restrictions may apply.

The estimated retail value of the Disney Institute Package is $3,495.00.

NOTE:  Items that are not included as part of the Disney Institute Package are: airfare and other transportation; accommodations; meals (other than as described above); alcoholic beverages; merchandise, souvenirs, etc.; tips, gratuities, service charges or taxes; and all other charges and items not otherwise described herein. Certain other restrictions may apply.

The Disney Institute Package is for the Giveaway Winner only, may not be sold, traded, transferred or refunded, and is not redeemable for cash. The Giveaway Winner may not be an employee or or otherwise affiliated with the Bar Association of Lehigh County.

The OE Program included in the Disney Institute Package must be presented, and the travel for the Disney Institute Package completed, on or before March 31, 2012. Dates are subject to availability, and certain restrictions and blockout dates may apply. Disney's policies regarding cancellation and (if permitted) rebooking of the Disney Institute Package will be determined by Disney in its sole discretion.

Professional Credits:
This course has been accredited by the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Continuing Legal Education Boards for six (6) substantive credits. The course has also been accredited for 7 PACE credits, 7 CPA Credits and 6 CFRE credits (pending).

The Disney Institute offers Continuing Education Units (CEU) for NASBA (National Association of State Board Accountancy) and ACHE (American College of Healthcare Executives). A certificate of completion can be issued after the program for each participant requesting credit through these organizations. If a participant is requesting CEUs through a different association/organization from the ones listed, a generic certificate of completion with the Disney Institute registration number; will be given. The participant must check with their organization for approval in advance.  The  NASBA and ACHE certificates will list the amount of credits that the participant will receive.

NASBA = 7 credits
ACHE = 6 credits
